Dr. Dongxin Lin and Dr. Chen Wu are both professors of the Department of Etiology and Carcinogenesis, National Cancer Center/Cancer Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (CAMS) & Peking Union Medcial College (PUMC). Dr. Lin is also an Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering.
Their major research interest is molecular cancer genetics and genomics, focusing on the identification of susceptibility and causal variants associated with the development and progression of human cancers including esophageal cancer, pancreatic cancer et al., using the approaches of genome-wide association studies and next generation sequencing. The papers published by Dr. Lin and Dr. Wu’s lab could be found at .
Dr. Ge Gao is a principal investigator of State Key Laboratory of Protein and Plant Gene Research, School of Life Sciences, Center for Bioinformatics, Peking University.
His major research interest is developing novel computational techniques to analyze, integrate and visualize high-throughput biological data effectively and efficiently, with application to decipher the function and evolution of gene regulatory system. Drawing on his background in computational sciences, his team specialize in large-scale data mining, using a combination of statistical learning, high-performance computing, and data visualizing.
